Turkish unemployment rises 12.7 percent highest since 2010

WAAR-DUHOK:

Turkey’s unemployment rate hit its highest in almost seven years in the November-January period, rising to 12.7 percent from 10.8 percent a year earlier, data from the Turkish Statistics Institute (TurkStat) showed on Wednesday.

The three-month average for November-January also represented a rise from 12.1 percent in the October-December period, TurkStat data showed.
