About Us

Waar Media is a cultural media institute. Established in 2013 and in 2019, it began its publication with new management and policy.

Waar is a part of Palo Broadcasting and Media Company which consists of Waar Channel, Waar Radio, and several social networking platforms called Waar Media. Waar Media focuses on cultural, social, and artistic aspects and has a humanitarian and national message.

The aim of the channel is social awareness, environmental protection, and preservation of coexistence and social peace. Waar TV seeks to preserve the authenticity of Kurdish society and  connect the audience to its screen by producing dramas, documentaries, original music, and local programs. Financial support is provided by Vision Education Company.
