KRG answers Abadi and describes his promises as “false weekly statements.”

WAAR-DUHOK:

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Wednesday called on the Iraqi Prime Minister to start a direct dialogue with the Region instead of repeating statements every week.

In a statement released on the KRG’s website, Spokesperson Safeen Dizayee urged Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to start a serious dialogue with the Kurdish government instead of making “false weekly statements.”

“Abadi’s statements have become a weekly habit, repeating the same things over again that does not lead us to any resolution,” Dizayee said. “With only words, press conferences, and unimplemented promises nothing will be resolved.”
