Six Kurdish parties demand repeat of Parliamentary Election in Kurdistan

WAAR-DUHOK:

Six political parties in Kurdistan Region demanded on Monday a repeat of the Iraqi parliamentary election in Kurdistan Region and disputed areas under the supervision of the international monitors.

The leaders of the Change Movement (Gorran), the Kurdistan Islamic Group (KIG), the Coalition for Democracy and Justice (CDJ), the Kurdistan Islamic Movement (IMK), the Kurdistan Communist Party, and the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), met earlier the day in Erbil to discuss the alleged fraud committed in the vote process.

“Unfortunately, a pre-planned fraud has violated the whole process of the electronic voting,” the head of KIU, Salahadin Bahadin, told reporters after the meeting.
