Iran reopens its consulate in Basra after burned by angry protesters last Friday

WAAR-DUHOK:

Iran opened on Tuesday a new consulate building in the Iraqi southern province of Basra as the country’s previous diplomatic facility was burned by the angry protesters last Friday.

The Iraqi protesters, a few days earlier, set fire to several public and political parties’ offices, one of which was the Islamic Republic’s consulate.
