The seats of the leading Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), which obtained eight seats in Erbil, and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), which won two seats were the same.

The results for the PUK in Kirkuk which had obtained six seats, and for the KDP in Duhok which had won ten seats, were the same as before.
