Manchester City face Rotherham United in the third round of the FA Cup at the Etihad on Sunday.
It’s sure to be a very different occasion to their match against Liverpool last Thursday (3rd January) that saw City beat the English Premier League leaders 2-1 to close the gap at the top of the table to four points.
Rotherham are struggling in the English Championship this season, down in 21st place, just above the relegation zone.
However, Pep Guardiola’s side are having to cope with the demands of three domestic competitions.
With City also involved in the two-legged semi-finals of the Carabao Cup (English League Cup), they’ll be no let up for the club in January – with another seven games to play should they reach the FA Cup fourth round.
