German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer is expected to visit Erbil and meet with Kurdistan officials and discuss continuing training Peshmerga forces.
Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer arrived in Baghdad earlier today where she met with Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi and discussed several important topics.
And she was in Jordan yesterday where she said Germany seeks to extend its troops’ mandate to fight in the war against ISIS IN Iraq and Syria.
Kramp is expected to arrive in Erbil tonight and meet with Kurdistan President, and the security matters and training Peshmerga forces will be the topics of discussion in the meeting, according to Waar correspondent in Erbil.
The German minister will meet with Minister of Peshmerga and Kurdistan’s Military officials as well.
