Germany’s Bayern Munich on Friday signed Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho on a season-long loan from La Liga giants Barcelona.
Bayern Munich also have an option to buy Coutinho from Barca.
“In my opinion, not only FC Bayern Munich, but also the entire Bundesliga and the whole of Germany can be delighted to be welcoming such a big-name player to our league,” Head coach Niko Kovac said, according to Bayern Munich’s official website.
He previously played for Italian Powerhouse team Inter Milan, Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, Espanyol in Spain and England’s Liverpool.
